Mustard Gas
- One of the most modern used in chemical warfare.
- originally used in World War 1.
- Usually not lethal, however it can cause permanent burns, cancer, and birth defects.
- Banned in 1993, but has been used as recent as the Syrian Civil War.
Chlorine Gas
- Also first used in World War 1.
- First seen at the second battle of Ypres from the Germans.
- Easier to transport and deploy than mustard gas.
- Chlorine gas is also easy to disguise as a less harmful chemical.
- Still commonly used today.
